Amber opened Yoga Lounge in 2012 when the rat race of London became too much and a life by the seaside beckoned. Since then she has added four children and many fur babies to her ever busy yet happy life. You’ll find Amber teaching or practising hot yoga, working away at her desk or on mum duties in equal measures.

As Studio Manager at The Yoga Lounge, Darren brings creativity and focus to the heart of the studio. Known affectionately as Dee or Daz, he helps keep everything running smoothly while ensuring the space remains warm and welcoming for everyone.Outside the studio, Darren is often seen around Bournemouth on his classic scooter — usually parked proudly out front. A former jewellery designer and engraver with over six years of experience, he has always had a creative spark that shines through in his art, writing, and music.He’s the author of two poetry collections, I Feel Everything and Through The Haze, and has written and produced several songs available on Spotify and Amazon under his artist name Spiritual Mod. A former physique competitor, Darren still enjoys strength training alongside his Pilates and yoga practice to stay strong, balanced, and centred.

Creativity is her middle name, when she's not painting artwork on the studio walls and greeting people on the front desk, she can be found making all kinds of things with paper. Aimee enjoys painting portraits of peoples pets and organising the yoga lounge bournemouth beach clean.

A professionally trained contemporary and ballet dancer, Grace has an innate passion for all things movement. Having danced since she was three, she stumbled across yoga during her teenage years and has since trained as a Vinyasa Yoga teacher and developed a daily practice of Power Yoga. She is a keen advocate for sharing the practice which has benefited her mind and body so greatly, and always seeks to create a warm, welcoming environment in the studio. A Taurus through and through, she is a creative, fiery and warm individual, who you’ll often find sweating it out in the studio. Alongside being at the front desk, she is a freelance dance producer, models, or is off on an adventure solo travelling. 

Bea is a current Fashion Design student, who joined the front desk team in September of this year. When she’s not behind a sewing machine, she enjoys sourcing vintage clothing, crocheting and modelling in her spare time.
